We welcome you to the Heart of Vancouver Island
|
There's lots to see within walking distance, or you can bring your bikes and tour the country side. There are places to horseback ride, rent kayaks, hike and fish. You can see Milner Gardens, an old English garden, as well as the Old Country Market, famous for its goats on the roof. We are also close to the Englishman River Falls and the Qualicum Falls, both showing off spectacular waterfalls.
You are at the gateway to Tofino & Ucluelet, and the west coast of Vancouver Island. Stop in beautiful Cathedral Grove on the way to Tofino, and also in Port Alberni, an old mill town. On the way to Ucluelet, enjoy scenic rivers, mountains and nature. There are hiking trails and the Pacific Rim National Park.
